Hi to all !! -=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 2) JSymphonic code name discussions -=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Votes are closed. The winning them is the first one: "Symphony names". As first code name (for version 0.3.0) I really like what Paulo proposed "Ode to freedom" (Beethoven 9th symphony). We think it perfect fits JSymphonic since it frees us from SonicStage !! So if anybody do not agree, just tell. If not, it will be the code name of next stable version. Thanks to the ones who gave their opinions. -=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 3) JSymphonic website is online -=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= As you knew, JSymphonic has a website. Now, the website has a theme, which colors match the ones from the logo. I also try to fill in as possible the content so that we are only going to use this website, and not the Sourceforge page. You'll find on the website: - news - a presentation - downloads - screenshots - a documentation - faq - the new forum - a contact us page - code source links - a how to join page - a GPL page So far, the only page which needs to be updated is the documentation one. But I'm waiting v0.3.0b to do so. I closed the Wiki, the documentation and the forum on Sourceforge pages. You are welcomed to discover the website and report me any mistake, any bug or any suggestion !!! http://symphonic.sourceforge.net/ You can also register to this website if you want to contribute and to the new forum to discuss any points !! I thank: - uluss for installing the content manager and dealing with the database and the web server, - Parha for designing the logo - metricjester for writting a correct README file (which I used for the website documentation) - mysefl for designing the theme and filling in the website. Have a great end of week.
