OggPlay1.71a is now released for all platforms! As the name suggests it's a minor update to 1.71 and it isn't an essential update if you are not having any problems with 1.71.

On the other hand, if you are an S60V3 user it's a fairly big change from an installation point of view. I've done my best but I've been unable to find a solution that solves the uninstall problems completely. Fundamentally they are something that Symbian will have to fix. The best I can do is put the problem files into a seperate installation package. See the Readme file for more details.

One thing I forgot to mention is that the fonts package is actually entirely optional. Oggplay will work properly without it. However if you don't install the font package you'll only really be able to use skins that use your phones built-in fonts. Coincidentally I made some of those to workaround another problem with the earlier 1.70 release. N80, E60 and 3250 users may want to give those skins a try too. Those skins can be found here:
