Thanks so much for this - I have installed 1.6.4 unstable release and it does indeed work now. It is reporting OGG codec and MP4 codec, but not MP3 or AAC.
Playback, ringtones etc all working perfectly.
Regards,
Shane.

Installed a non-mmf version. Somehow it works. Wish I could run mmf version...
I wonder, where is the difference between these two phones (sonicscritch's & mine)?

Hi,
I have a Panasonic X700 that I am trying to get OggPlay running on.
I have tried version 1.0 and 1.0.4 and both come back with the following error message when I try and open an ogg audio file:
Error copying buffer
Error code -5
Can anyone help out? I'd love to be able to play music and possibly ogg ringtones on this phone, but it's not looking good.
Thanks,
Shane.
Try the MMF version.
I think it should work with no problems

Problems with v 1.6.2 on X700. When trying to play any OGG file phone dies at once. The only way to bring it back to life - detach the battery.
Thanks.
