[Syllable-developer] quick question

Ive been only slightly foloowing some of the discussion on the atheos
list, so heres a quick question. On the syllable website you guys are at
version 0.3.9 Is there any difference between what you guys have to
download and what is avaliable for download from atheos.cx?

I think syllable is a great idea and hopefully we can get enough people
with enough time to actually start progressing this OS. With that being
said Id like to keep my system up to date which is why I wonder if there
is a difference between 0.37 atheos and syllable 0.3.9?

I have a couple incomplete drivers written and not a lot of time until
fall, but i seem to remeber some questions being asked about whether
anyone had compiled the whole system or not? I havent but Id be willing to
try. And I also think we had some questions about getting glibc to
copmpile as well anbd possbile other gnu copmpiler tools? I've had
some expierence with this, as I helped get the gnu toolchain working when
Palm first started working on providing the tools for developers.

Let me know what I can help with basically is what Im saying. For now I
have time to help with compiling (although downloading takes a while since
im on a modem) and testing and getting certain packages up to date. A
month or so from now, I hope to have alittle more time and start finishing
some of these drivers I have as wellas maybe helping more with the kernel
driver architecture and kernel in general.

Yes, the difference is that 0.3.9 is not available for download, nor does it
exist... :)
0.4.0 will be the first version of Syllable. The changes were posted on the
AtheOS mailing list earlier today.

Anyway, it's a bit hard for everyone to participate in a discussion that
takes place on an IRC channel, so I'd like to keep the main discussion
