Ideal time for me would be in the summer, June-July-August. Not sure I can make it otherwise, although I'll definitely try... :o) > > I'd love to hook up with somebody else and explore a museum or art > > gallery. > > I'm up for some sightseeing -- even though I know the city > well, I live right up in the north of England so don't get > much opportunity to spend time there! The problem with going elsewhere is that, while it's cheap to stay there, it's probably more expensive to get there... :o) England isn't a cheap place anyway, but I suppose it's the natural choice, since it's where Vanders lives... I think most low-fare airlines fly to Stanstead instead of Heathrow. I've never flown to Stanstead myself, so I don't know if there are any hotels nearby or anything, or even if it's within reasonable distance from London, but that may be an alternative worth investigating...? /Henrik |
