[Syllable-kernel] d-bus and HAL: another piece of the puzzle

Another piece of "Project Utopia", which was discussed on 
syllable-developer last month, that integrates with d-bus and udev is 
called HAL, and the project homepage for that is here:

In Gentoo Linux, according to this thread, eventually you will be able 
to do a simple "emerge dbus hal gnome-volume-manager".  Actually, it 
looks like you are able to do that now (only four months after the 
message was posted last Sept.) as long as you are using the 2.6.x Linux 
kernel.
