Simple XML ManMachine Interface Language / News: Recent posts

On the 9th of April, the SXMMIL project team published its first preview release of the SXMMIL DTD.
This DTD will help concentrate on the logical view of Man-Machine Interface rather than its physical view (remember those JTextField, JPanel, <TABLE> and so on).
Once described in SXMMIL, your MMI could be rendered in any framework: Swing, HTML, PDA-dependent, ... (KDE, Gnome should be explored as well!).
In next release, the team plans to deliver samples, tools for validation and transformation for particular frameworks (Java and HTML first). In the future, it is envisioned to deliver an IDE for building these SXMMIL files.
