Hey Peter, if you could do a debug of that. In the GUI version go to
view->debug options and the select snmp. Run it again and let it fail. Look
in the %APPDATA% folder and there will be a folder named switch miner it
should have a file sm.log. Can you send that to me? Also what type of SNMP
are you using, is it v2 or v3? If v3 what priv level and protocols are you
using?
Hi Billy
Thank you for the Message! And sorry for delay. We had Carneval 8-)
We use snmp v2. Privilege Level 15.
The sm.log is attacht.
I hope the log helps us to find the error. SwitchMiner is a very cool Tool!
I wish you a nice Day!
Sincerly, Peter

Hey Peter, i looked at the log. Do you use the same community string across
all your devices? It appears you may have an @ symbol in your community
string. The way SNMP v2 works is to get the mac addresses of a specific
VLAN you add a @<vlan num=""> to the community. So to get the MAC's from VLAN
1 you would send mycommunity@1. If you have an @ in the community like
my@community@1 that may be causing the failure, if this same community
works with other devices its possible it's something specific to that SW
version but i would need to do some more research.</vlan>

Hello Billy
Problem solved! Thank you!
There was a "@" in the community string.
Now it works well on all Switches again!
