Hi Guys Has any one had an issue where the IP04 stops being able to make or receive calls after a period of time ? This issue seems to be possible to make this happen with in about 15 mins if I am making changes via the web pages. Also there seem to be a problem with the web bases firewall, it does not get reapplied after reboot. Thanks Mike |

Hi I used a perl cmd line to create a hash but it does not match the current password in the file. I now that this was getting changed by the passwd busybox command so I think the issue is that there is a static password in a binary some where. Hi guys, we have used astfin for a long time and now finally try switch to switchfin as base for our product. While doing this have a problem usind mISDN on the BRI Appliance. I hope someone of you also had the problem or can give at least some hints or tips. We've tested and tried a lot till now but running out of ideas. The problem is: If there is only one b-channel of an mISDN trunk group in the use you cannot start an other incomming or outgoing. Even if there are all four BRI ports in this trunk group there is only on call possible. If we use four trunk groups (one for every BRI interface) we can make one call over every interface, but the second one always gets dropped. Hi Mike I will spend some time next weekend and fix the did route in the GUI, if you manually work out a good way of handling the call forward let me know and I will make the GUI play nice. Thanks Jason kenah |

Hi Mike First to da a simple call redirect you can use a voice menu, that just has the dial command, if you want extension based redirection this is a bigger task, you can follow some simple examples at http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+call+forwarding Second the DID Route works by striping the Dialled number from the incoming call and calling DID_<DIALED NUMBER>, from the GUI's end it assumes that the DID for each trunk would be the username as with most VOIP providers you get one trunk per DID, if the username is not the same as the DID you can simply change DID_<USER NAME> to DID_<REAL DID> this should fix any incoming routing issues. Thanks Jason Quoting swi...@li...: > Hi Guys > > This list seems to be a little quite now days, but I've just started > looking at things again. > > I have just installed a copy of Switchfin build early last week and I've > had a few issues: > > It does not seem to be possible to redirect phone calls using the > current extensions.conf code. Providers who provide enterprise features always support multiply DID's per trunk. The option 'Use routing context' would seem to do the correct thing but there is no way to create the DID_<phonenumber> extensions (that I can see) I think an extra page is needed to create the did's. Hi Mike, Yes the switchfin forum is a bit more active. I am doing external project right now and pretty busy with the hardware. I have to move to the Switchfin software soon :) The issue with t38 is with switchfin trunk? Can you send me your .config and I will check. Hi Guys This list seems to be a little quite now days, but I've just started looking at things again. I have just installed a copy of Switchfin build early last week and I've had a few issues: It does not seem to be possible to redirect phone calls using the current extensions.conf code. (follow me is a crazy idea and just does not work well) There is an issue with inbound did code where if you want to match the TO field (using the DID_Route code) asterisk will send the call to DID_<number> but there is no way to add DID_<number> in the extensions.conf. There could be a way but I could not see it. There was also a build issue with the t38 code but I did not keep a copy of the error, I'll have a look if someone is interested. Cheers Mike |
