#2 Template Usability Improvements

1) Can we make createChannel automatically template itself off of the inheriting class?
2) Currently, we need to specify the infoType twice - we should only need to specify it once, in the paradigm template
3) Some indications of ways to setup "using namespaces" or "typedefs" to reduce the line noise for using channels.
