                  swingX2 project

  What is it?
  -----------

  swingX2 is a copy of the unmaintained old swingX project.
  
  The old project is still available as a Maven repository (https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/swinglabs/swingx/), but there seems to be no
  more source tree for this project. The old source tree disappeared when the old java.net repository where the project was maintained was shutdown.

  Where is it?
  ------------

  The home page for the swingX2 project can be found in the sourceforge 
  Project web site (http://sourceforge.net/projects/swingX2/). There you also find 
  information on how to download the latest release as well as all the other 
  information you might need regarding this project.

  Requirements
  ------------

  A Java 1.8 or later compatible virtual machine for your operating system.

  Licensing and legal issues
  --------------------------

  The swingX2 Library uses a LGPL 2.1 license for the source code, as the old swingX project.
