SwingWeb / News: Recent posts

This is the first beta of Swingweb 2.0 which includes several exciting new features:
- thin-client template set for generic thin-client development
- ajax thin-client implementation using GWT
- dojo component template set

There are also many framework changes and refactoring to accomodate the thin-client support.

This is the final 1.0 release for swingweb. Most of the issues from previous RC1 release has been fixed and there are several features added.

NEW FEATURE
- add SwingWebContextDestroyer for cleanning up shared event dispatch thread
- returned real buffered images from SwingWebContext instead of swingweb image impl
- Implement MapInputContext.destroy to shutdown the shared threaded event queue
- add ShareAppApplicationInitializer interface for shareapp webapp events
- manage swingweb sessions through http sessions
- implement render component as image capability
- SwingWebServlet: add handling of session stop to print out the session stop message to browser ... read more
