Ok, that did it. Fairly easy! Thank you very much! The link on the SwingOSC-Readme-File to was a littel bit confusing for a java-dilettante.

Install ant, it's probably in your distributions package
manager.

then, download the ant-contrib class from sourceforge:

http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?group_id=36177&use_mirror=internap&filename=ant-contrib-1.0b2-bin.tar.bz2&34031143

copy the ant-contrib.jar file to ant lib directory:
$ sudo cp ant-contrib.jar /usr/share/ant/lib/

should do the trick
