the whole swing environment should be tested thoroughly for running on remote servers. there are quite some issues, e.g. metering doesn't seem to work, and scsynth proxy creation needs to translate a loopback NetAddr to the local IP etc.
JSCSynth is fixed now.... remaining issues are scope and freqScope that should be upgraded to use JCollider instead of low level NetUtil.
