The patch added director typemap between char* in C++ and byte[] in Java, which is based on version swig-2.0.4.

    Thanks for patch. My runtime tests do not work. Could you provide a runtime test to show it working. I suggest a simple modification of the Examples/java/callback example.

    Also the javadirectorout and directorout typemaps are not needed as char *CHAR is for parameter inputs

    No response in close to 4.5 years, and the patch as-is didn't work for William so closing.
