Currently I'm using %directors to implement a callback in the target
language (python) to be called from a native C library - and it works
The SWIG documentation also mentions the %callback directive - but all
of the callback examples I have seen so far do not make use of it. They
use %directors instead (e.g. swig-examples/python/callback/example.i)
Q1: Am I using the right approach?
Q2: Is the %callback directive is obsolete?
