I am using MSYS to invoke SCons for a project that I'm working on, and
recently some changes in our build process resulted in a command that
has exceeded the Windows 2000 command-length limit. The command in
question is a linking command that joins together a number of different
object files nested in four different sub-sub directories.
I think that I saw some kind of clever work around for this problem when
using the msvc tools, but it seems that this workaround may not have
been implemented for the mingw toolset. Is this something that would be
hard to do? Or is another approach recommended for the MinGW case? Is
there a 'Builder' command that could quickly solve this problem, perhaps?
