I'm a swig newbie trying to create bindings for an open source C project
for geocoding addresses.
So far I have a parent interface pagclib.i
// %include "shapefil.i"
The pagc interfaces are what I am trying to get into.
pagc.i included commented out pagc.h
the other pagc's did not require any edits.
first interface in question is db.i. this is an interface to the Oracle
berkeley db 4.7 which I have on my machine... I tried
ref'ing /usr/include/db.h (ubuntu machine) but came across problems so I
started commenting out lines in db.h that I copied into db.i
swig runs fine.
I run into problems when compiling with GCC.
Now the issue is that there are already python bindings to berkeley db.
How can exploit these instead of creating new ones from scratch, or use
a db4.7 swig interface someone already created?
Any thoughts? Need more info?
