I can't see any info on this in the CHANGES files. There is something in Customization.html but I don't understand how it works. The docs imply that %delobject will delete some memory for some parameters for a function. The example has just one parameter. What if there are lots of parameters? When does the memory get deleted, after the C function has returned? Initially I thought %delobject was the opposite of %newobject, ie it effectively makes sure the proxy class does not take ownership of the memory created in the SWIG wrappers. That is it would provide a solution to the Java query on the swig mailing list. What is the Python soln to this query btw? Does a user just have to call the disown method? William |
