My name is Matt. A couple of friends and I are college students in computer science. Their names are Stuart and Michael, and they may be joining the list later on. As part of one of our classes, Data Structures, we get to choose an open source project to work on for the semester. After looking around, SWIG seemed like an interesting project with an active community, so we thought it would be a good one for us.

We're encouraged to try to contribute with a focus on data structures. If anyone has some pointers about how to get familiar with the code and/or places to look, that'd be great. We have seen the bug tracker on sourceforge, and we've started looking at some of the bugs there.

Thanks for your help, and we look forward to contributing,
