Hi there,

I have spent a few days failing to compile the code because apparently, SWIG 2.0.4 could not deal with module name or source filenames with mixed upper and lower case. For example, firstSample.i and firstSample.cpp have to be changed to firstsample.i and firstsample.cpp to make it works when using distutils. Else, you will get error of unresolved symbols of Init_firstSample.

Thanks,
Sam

No. SWIG works perfectly well with mixed upper and lower case in filenames. Try using the raw command line options without distuls to prove to yourself. Maybe this is a distutils bug.
