My system- Windows 8 x64. Version 6.0 works just fine for me.
Since there is absolutely no way to check which version is one using the developer may add About with version information.

Thank you for reporting! I actually had the bug fixed locally but I didn't realize it was in the latest release. I've uploaded a fixed version.
Regarding version numbers, other people have other mentioned them; please see the other discussion threads for my responses regarding that.
