Getting Swiftcord Logs

Sometimes we'll ask you to check or send us your logs, and this is a guide on how to do that.

  1. Quit Swiftcord.
  2. Open Console.app which is located at /System/Applications/Utilities/Console.app.
  3. A window like the one below should appear. In the sidebar under devices, select your current machine.

  4. Press the Start Streaming button, and log messages from all apps should start streaming in.

  5. In the search bar at the top right of the window, type process:swiftcord and press enter. Now you should only see log messages originating from Swiftcord!

  6. Open Swiftcord again, and reproduce the issue you're facing, you should see log messages appear in the console window.

  7. In order to send the logs somewhere else, press ⌘-A ⌘-C and paste it into a new text file.
