The trunk of sweep CVS has been migrated to a new Subversion repository.
You can check it out by:
svn co http://svn.metadecks.org/sweep/trunk sweep
The CVS repository at cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/sweep is still
available, but is no longer mentioned on the Sourceforge project pages.
svn.metadecks.org can also be browsed via trac at:
trac also integrates bug reporting and a simple wiki. It's very cool,
as it automatically picks up links between commit messages and bug
SVN write access
So far a few developers have SVN write access -- those that have been
in contact recently (kickback, erikd), and those whose htpasswds I've
swiped from elsewhere (silvia, andre ;-)
Of course the migration to SVN is not complete until all developers have
write access :-) So please email me a username:htpasswd. Use the htpasswd
command to generate an htpasswd. Do not choose a highly valuable password
as you will be using it for HTTP basic authentication.
The Subversion and Trac information has been updated at:
Those of you who are not familiar with SVN or Trac can find more
information at the following sites:
Trac home page: http://www.edgewall.com/trac/
SVN homepage: http://subversion.tigris.org/
But broadly speaking, SVN is equivilent to CVS, albeit with added
and improved functionality, and Trac provides the following features:
a bug/issue tracker
a web interface for viewing the SVN repository
and numerous other useful things in a neatly intergrated package.
