s'all greek to me but i'll take your word for it
and not bore you with moot suggestions. 

even if it's only to better serve niche use cases,
i should probably look into making all applicable
drivers available at run time, even if they aren't
fully modularisabliated..

i made an attempt at modularisation but ran into
problems with the jack driver. (which opts for
what i think is properly referred to as a layer
violation, in order to get around limitations of
the existing driver api) i'm also an idiot. which
isn't the greatest aid to progress either :)
