hello. i hope this is not the wrong place to post this,
but i didn't see any other way of contact on your
website. sweep looks like it rocks! unfortunately i ran
into a problem trying to open a very large wav file
(242778156 bytes) that i needed to crop. here's the
terminal output:
GLib-ERROR **: could not allocate 485556224 bytes
aborting...
Aborted
what i want to know is simple (i hope). you see, i have
only 64 megabytes of RAM on my system, so i suspect
that the file could not be opened because of this
limitation. whether that is the case is my first
question. the second is this - how much RAM would i
need to have, then, to open files of this size?
thanks, and sorry again if i posted inappropriately.
