Hello Tobias, I'm trying to install SVXLINK on a laptop with only USB ports (no serial). I'm using a converter to emulate a serial port (USB-to-RS232) In Linux this port can be used as /dev/ttyUSB0. I have used this "trick" on more systems with svxlink and till now this worked fine. On the laptop I am using now, after a while I get an error reading: Rx1: The squelch is CLOSED (2.75534) Activating module Parrot... Tx1: Turning the transmitter ON setPin: Timer expired When I close SVXLINK and want to start it again it gives me the following information: SvxLink v0.11.99rc12 (Jul 22 2010) starting up... Using configuration file: /etc/svxlink.conf Starting logic: SimplexLogic setPin: Timer expired *** ERROR: Could not initialize TX "Tx1" *** ERROR: Could not initialize Logic object "SimplexLogic". Skipping... *** ERROR: No logics available. Bailing out... I have changed the settings of PTT_PIN but that is not the solution. Any idea what could be the problem ? After unplugging the USB-to-RS232 module en inserting it again, the systems works for a few moments and then the same error is shown again. 73' Foeke PA3FNT |
