    Hi,

I installed SVN Manager with Mysql 4.1, PHP 5.1.4 on Debian. I can login as admin. I am able to create a user, but I do not see other menu items than UserAdmin and Logout (no matter which user I try (admin <-> normal user)).

    What could be wrong?

    Thanks  a lot!
    Christian

logout and try to login again, then you will see other funktions of the programm

That did not help. I tested it on firefox, ie and safari without luck.

I now reinstalled the whole thing again. The only difference is, that I am now using the same subdomain for hosting the repositories and svnmanager. now i see user admin, repos admin and logout menu entries. but no group admin for example. and nothing is written into accessfile (but in passwordfile)

      Any other hints?

      thanks a lot!!

      Hi Christian,

Are you sure your database is working correctly?

When you use SQLite, has your webserver got write access to the specified location?

When you use MySQL, have you created the database with the sql file and does your config contain the correct username / password / database combination?

I really think it's someting in this reaction!

      Kind regards,
      Marijn

        Hey Marijn,

I already got it fixed, but forgot to post it. The problem was with permissions and the user I created not being set as administrator. It's now working perfect. Thanks a lot for your efforts!

        best regards,
        Christian
