Version Control With Subversion Source

Gee, fitz, you always complain about how cmpilato and I don't use an
XML validator on the book like you do. But at least we *compile* the
book before committing. ;-)

* doc/book/book/ch00.xml: fix a whole bunch of markup typos.

Fill out typographical conventions and chapter summaries in the
Preface. Also add some emacs-fu to the end of the file.

* doc/book/book/ch00.xml: New content.

Book: fix the description of hook scripts.

* doc/book/book/ch05.xml
It is the pre-revprop-change hook that must be present to allow revprop
changes, not the pre-commit hook.

Usually it's its, not it's, but this time it's neither its nor it's.
Fix typo noticed by Julian foad.

* doc/book/book/ch08.xml: Fixed.

Apparently at the moment only 'svn:' properties are UTF8 encoded, both
as revision properties and as normal file properties. So talking about
being able to put binaries in Subversion properties is quite okay. So
my concerns were not necessary.

* doc/book/REVIEW: Removed entry.

Change the color of visited links in the stylesheet for the book to make them
distinguishable from unvisited links.
