Tweak-a-word here, tweak-a-word there, tweak-a-word everywhere.

More work to try to make our HTML stylations match the way O'Reilly
renders text.

* src/en/book/styles.css
Override <strong> tags -- we have no markup that should be
generating bold text. Italicize commands. Shrink the fonts in
admonishments.

* src/en/book/ch00-preface.xml
Rework the 'Conventions' section to not break into subsections
(which is what we think the copyeditor probably meant when she
struck out the printed titles of those subsections).

More little fixes found while porting changes to the ORA tree.

s/Renumber/Renumbers/ for verb tense consistency.

Fix some minor capitalization and punctuation issues.

More minor tag tweaks for still more consistency.

Tiny tweak for consistency with similar sections.

Use common Subcommands sub-section intro text. Fix a command-in-title markup bit.
