It would be good to have SVEditor be able to turn off parsing of large files such as netlists etc. Not sure exactly how to go about it, either file size, or possibly number of "instanced modules".
Interesting thought... Would this feature primarily apply during indexing (ie when processing all the files specified by the argument files) or when the user opens a file in the editor?
I know CDT has a 'large file' mode in the editor. I don't know the details, but suspect that file parsing is turned off for the 'large' file.
Not sure how other languages do it. My knee jerk reaction is that it gets before parsing, so that we keep the amount of "checking" during indexing to a minimum. We are already approaching 10 min on some of our projects.
