Greetings all, I've used SV on and off over the past couple years to hep chart songs for visual performance in my live lighting/video designs. Recently I've been building a workflow to automatically convert SV data to a custom format used in my own system, and have run in to a couple of issues: 1) Is there any way to export svl point data using time (either seconds or hours:minutes:seconds) instead of frame number? Thus far all i've figured out is to copy and paste points to a new instance layer, then renumber instances with "Time in seconds." This stinks as it replaces my notes fields, which are the important data. I could translate the frame numbers against the included sampleRate, but that would add an obnoxious computation stage to what is otherwise a straightforward dictionary copy. An option to toggle between frames and time would be very handy for the non-programmers among us. 2) The DOCTYPE definition in the generated svl files is incorrect, defining 'sonic-visualiser', while the root element is actually 'sv'. 3) Is there a schema available for the format? Is there even anything else in the format besides what a simple time instance layer export provides? If there is no existing schema and it really is that simple of a format I could supply the one i've had to create if anyone is interested. Thanks for the excellent work, Sonic Visualizer is an incredibly handy tool for more uses than i'm sure most realize. cheers, -X |
