Is it possible to have more than one annotation
layer in a layer data file in the XML format?

For example I want to have two layers, one
for beat locations, and the other for off-beat
locations. Since these are closely related data,
I don't want to store them in separate files and
loaded them separately, so having a single file
with the two layers contained in it would be
ideal.

Attached is an image of what the layers would
look like after loading into Sonic Visualser.
The first layer is blue (the beats), and the
second layer is red (the offbeats).

This feature would be highly appreciated by us, too.
We are in the process of annotating electroacoustic music manually to provide a test-set for our attempts of automating annotation of electroacoustic music.
We could of course export layers individually and merge the xml, but it would be much nicer of course, could sonic visualiser do this directly.
