The origins of project
The database and user interface have undergone some planning by me and Nicola Busanello (dieeasy). dieeasy (wich represented the customer) also took care of running a headless OpenOffice for PDF generation. Since I've been the coder, the decisions concerning the architecture of the code where made by myself with some thinking and is based on my experience of PHP and object oriented programing trying to satisfy the requirements of the project.

Tools
Tools used to develop/mantain the app includes OpenOffice.org, unzip, phpmyadmin.

Wishes
This project has been succesful but probably it will not see much improvements. Many years have been passed since the last release and the project had only minor downloads.
Anyway it may rewritten to support new PHP versions, or other DBs (Postrgres?, Sqlite?) or even other languages (Ruby?, Python?,...).
