Well, imho, that's not necessary. The 'require word boundaries' setting does everything that you need in this case, and is in fact a better solution than whitelisting, because there are quite a few words with 'ass' in them (pass, sass, bass, crass, gassy... just a few off the top of my head), and whitelisting them all would be a pain in the .... you know what. :)
