#1 Unexplainable build slowdowns.
I have noticed an unexplainable slowdown caused by
SuperWaba IDE.
Testbed: Eclipse 2.1.2, Win XP, JDK 1.4.2+
The reason for me is uncertain, but I have noticed,
that when building, or even when clicking on the
SuperWaba library (left or right button) Eclipse blocks
for a couple of seconds (5-10 seconds). That is quite
annoying, keeping in mind, that every save invokes
building.
A few pointers:
When this slowdown occurs, there is no processor or
hard disk activity, but the network adapter shows
serious network traffic. Disabling the interface helps
avoid these slowdowns, but this is not an option.
Also I dumped the traffic generated by my machine
when a slowdown occurs. I was 'shocked' to see, that
the traffic was 100% Microsoft Network traffic. I
should point, that there are a number of shares I have
mounted, but SuperWaba SDK is found on a local disk.
