Hi guys, Something that's been bugging me for a while but I can't figure out whether it's a bug or not. When you're driving uphill (epsecially if you;re going fast, I think) your steering becomes harder to control... like you steer faster somehow. This is evident on the uphill corners on the island track and also is very very prominent on the addon track wet day in the house. Any thoughts? Or am I just a crap driver :P Cheers, Tom |

Hi, this is a known problem. If you wanna test out what I mean about the Island track going uphill, it's the first uphill corner, the steep one that goes to the crest of the hill with a brick wall either side... I find it really hard not to smack into the left hand side of the wall because as it gets steeper before the apex the steering gets looser... Well I never met this problem that much on island track; the biggest problem IMO with island track is that it's too narrow so it's hard to overtake opponents. About canyon track : its author was contacted and he agreed to make it less steep whenever he has some time :) The problem is that it would be pretty hard to fix physics for this without breaking driving on flat areas -- Auria |
