This patch is based on Supermount 2.0.4 against Kernel
2.6.8.1, i fixed a bunch of issues with failed hunks and
compilation errors (UDF FS, CDROM, SCSI sd and sr,
etc.)
The patch was done with diff -ruN, to apply it you need
your kernel sources in the directory linux-2.6.8.1, then
run:
$ ls
linux-2.6.8.1 supermount.patch
$ patch -p0 < supermount.patch
Done!, the file supermount.patch is really
supermount-2.0.4-2.6.8.1.patch, in the example was
cutted down for formating.
Happy SuperMounting!

Seems like your patch is backwards, -- {line} insterad of ++. Gonna try and reverse everything so supermount lines are added. Otherwise patch will bomb.

actually, I just added -R to the command line and it went OK.

NOTE: the patch is at the bottom of this page, and is the
latest version, which patches cleanly agains kernel 2.6.8.1,
and does work with all supermount media supported.
All bottom comments are about old patch which was borked
(broken) the current one works. No need to worry.
