Doesn't work with 1680KB floppies
Put a 1440KB (the standard one) floppy in your drive.
Do a fdformat /dev/fd0u1680 and then a mkdosfs on it.
It will work well with normal mount, but not with
supermount.
with supermount, with these floppies, when you take the
floppy out to unmount it, and put it back again, you
find the files in it totally corrupted!
This occurred several times with the Kanotix kernel (
2.6.9 with the supermount-ng205.diff patch). My OS is
Kurumin, a Brazillian
flavor of Knoppix. It's basically Debian Testing.
My machine is an athlon 1200@1400, ASUS A7V8X-X Mobo.
