Certainly.   This sort of screen/report is required in almost all ERP/MRP related
implementations.

In Suniant, there are sales order related inquiries to show what items are required
to complete a sales order by a certain date, what are the other sales orders
competing for the same inventory by the date, and what , if any,  purchase orders
and/or manufacturing work orders to replenish the inventory, etc.

There is also inquiries in the manufacturing modules showing what is required
start the work order by certain date, the raw material or lower level sub items
inventory counts,  what , if any,  purchase orders and/or sub manufacturing
work orders to replenish the inventory, etc.
