[sumo-user] Installing Sumo 0.21.0 on Linux Mint 17

Hello. I am using Linux Mint Version 17. I installed the Sumo from the
following repositories.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:sumo/stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install sumo sumo-tools sumo-doc
”
This install SUMO 0.19.0 version. But I need to install SUMO 0.21.0 on my
Linux Mint Version 17. Anybody knows how to solve this issue ?

The debian / ubuntu repositories are not maintained by me so I can only
guess that the repo always contains the version which was the most
recent one back then. Furthermore it does not to be necessary to use the
ppa: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2230793.
Probably it is easiest to compile sumo by yourself just download the
sources and follow the usual configure & make process.
