Dear Dawne, Michael, all, while working on making the outputs work properly with different time step sizes, I noticed quite an odd behaviour in the vtypeprobe-output. Dawne, I would like to know your opnion because you have worked with this output recently. The point is that vtypeprobe - and I suppose also the routeprobe - are writing their values at the end of the interval (frequency), while for the time step information, the interval's begin is used. Just for making it easier to understand, you may find a part of a vtypeprobe output below: <timestep time="0.00" id="test1" vtype="DEFAULT_VEHTYPE"> <vehicle id="0" lane="4/1to3/1_0" pos="190.00" x="1405.25" y="401.65" speed="10.00"/> </timestep> Now, "0" is reported as time, but the vehicle is already at position 190 - having already performed 9 steps... I think the best way would be to save the state at the interval's begin. What do you think? Michael, I am not sure about the routeprobe here. Does it collect values during the interval? sincerely, Daniel |
