#61 shortcuts don't work after ubuntu 9.10 start with sue

If you boot ubuntu 9.10 with SUE in autostart and press SHIFT+ALT+Q, to close SUE, nothing happens.
Clicking the tray-icon close also does nothing, same for settings dialog.
Only after you opened a new window, nautilus or gedit for example, the shortcuts work

Reproducibility:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot ubuntu 9.10 with sue in autostart
2. press SHIFT+ALT+Q to close SUE

Actual Result:
- nothing happens

Expected Result:
- The Close confirm dialog should open, or SUE should exit

Additional Information:
- works fine under ubuntu 9.04
