Welcome to the sudo7 project on SourceForge.

sudo7 is a small programm written in c which elevates other commands on Windows Vista and Windows 7 to run under administrative security level. All it requires is a user that is member of the Administrator group.

It is working quite well on my two Windows 7 computers in my office and I tested it on a VM Windows Vista.

The program itself won't harm your computer. You just have to know that you are doing. If you start a program with elevated rights it has full access to everything on your computer. sudo7 won't access anything at all, it just provides the elevation.

sudo7 should work with UNICODE, but due to the fact that I only use ASCII, I have not tested this. Please let me know if it works (or not).
