Read texts from file feature can't handle subtitles for more than 1CD videos.
You could create two new options from the current one into the menu:
Fast read texts from file
It's exactly like the current feature.
Read texts from files(s)...
The following options in a window:
(with other names of course, these are just for the explanation)
read texts from file into the opened subtitle --> browse button
It should work like the current feature.
read texts from a more than 1CD subtitle into the opened subtitle
You could add the subtitles into a window in order like in the join subtitles feature.
If the added subtitles has the same number of titles together, like the original subtitle, reading should work properly. If they don't have the same number of titles together, an error message warns me.
read texts from a 1CD subtitle to a more than one-CD subtitle
You could add the original 1CD subtitle, and the new more than 1CD subtitles. It works like the previous options, it could read the textx if the number of the titles matches, otherwise I get an error message.
Besides exactly the same could be useful for the "read timings from file" feature too.

Of course I mean that in "read timings from file" feature it would be useful to read timing from a more than 1CD subtitle to another more than 1CD subtitle. (If the number on CDs and the number of titles matches.)
Read timing from a 1CD subtitle to a more than 1CD subtitle is impossible and unnecessary. :)
Other thing: in "read texts from file" feature could be created a possibility to read texts from a more than 1CD subtitles to another more than 1CD subtitle as well.

That's kind of too much and the work isn't worth it.
You want to read the texts from several subtitles into the current subtitle file? Then simply join them and load the timing from your current subtitle into the joined subtitle file. It will pretty much take you the same time, probably a couple of more mouse clicks.

You are right, this is really a simple way, thanks.
You're welcome.
