recently I tested loading of .mts files recorded on STB tuner:
in MediaPlayer-HomeCinema or recent VLC by method of drag-and-drop those multi-stream files are normally opened (excluding after adding to them ), but the Subtitle Workshop v6.0b (build 131121) complains that they're invalid.
suggestion:
can you add in the form of help some info on command-line switches regarding such files, opening them successfuly in eg. VLC player or ffmpeg inside the Subtitle Worshop?

correction:
(excluding after adding to them )
was:
(excluding after adding to them .mp4 extension)
which is crucial eg. in ffmpeg usage, maybe non-CLI software is more adaptive, but problem persists
