I installed the Codecs download into ProgramsX86, where Subtitle Workshop is located but when I try and add the movie (.mp4) I'm told it's not valid.
Any help at all is appreciated.

You seem to have CSS turned off. Please don't fill out this field.
Try changing mp4 to mkv.
