I have installed Subtitle Workshop version 6.0b (build 131121) on Windows 7 Ultimate, x64. Opened an English subtitle in Translator Mode and went on translating it diligently. After probably 4 hours of working and 470 translated lines, Subtitle Workshop crashed and it closed program without saving my project. I was silly (=stupid) enough not to save it on the very beginning, so I haven't assigned any name to it.

I was wondering if it's possible to find a temporary file and maybe recover all the lost work. Could you, please, help me out with this? Any path where to look for a file and help with renaming extension (don't know if it works this way) would be much appreciated.

    Thank you very much.

    Best regards.

    Sorry for your accident.
I'm afraid there is no way to recovery your work.
I guess, all translated lines was only in memory (or Windows cache), not on an unique file on hard disk.

But what happened is a good lesson for your behaviour in the future: turn on "Automatic Save" feature.
It can be done at "Settings/Save/Save work automatically every _ _ minutes".
If you had done that, your hard work could be recovered very easily.

Thank you Gab for a prompt answer. This is the very first time I forgot to save the project right in the beginning. After the accident, I started to open Setting options in a search of the temporary project file path and I saw the option of automatic save. I wish it was turned on by default after installation of SW. If users find it annoying, they will increase the time span but such accidents wouldn't happen.
