1250 – Central and East European Latin
1251 – Cyrillic
1252 – West European Latin
1253 – Greek
1254 – Turkish
1255 – Hebrew
1256 – Arabic
1257 – Baltic
1258 – Vietnamese
874 – Thai

Default = whatever you selected in Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Advanced > Language for non-Unicode programs
There's a terminology confusion here. There always has been. When selecting the Charset, ANSI means Windows-1252. But "ANSI" can also mean "non-Unicode", so essentially all charsets are ANSI.
So, yeah, a little bit confusing. We might rename those in the future so that they are more clear.

Yeah, renaming them would be a good idea.

Which codepage exactly is ANSI? Windows-1252?
It depends your windows settings.
If we spoke about non-Latin characters, then for Estonian (for example) it will be Win-1257, and for Russian, it will be Win-1251.

Then isn't that the same as "Default"?

Got it, thanks.
It might be a good idea to add the explanation to the manual.
When selecting a Charset:
ANSI = Windows-1252
Default = whatever you selected in Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Advanced > Language for non-Unicode programs
