i downloaded an episode of G.O.T on mp4 format, i converted it into an (avi.) format and when i open the movie from subtitle workshop there is only a black screen. I can hear the sound fine but the screen is completely black. The movie plays fine when i open it without subtitle workshop.
Any ideas?

Should we guess what OS and codecs you have installed ? Right click on screen > video renderer > VMR9.
coda v33 and i am not sure what you mean by OS.
